Biography

Dr. Ehab Gouda Ahmed Tolba is a Professor of Science Education at the Faculty of Specific Education, Mansoura University, Egypt. His main research interests include thinking, cognitive load theory, technology-assisted teaching strategies and models, entrepreneurial education, creative teaching and learning, and mental models. He has published more than 30 research papers in leading domestic and international journals indexed in Scopus and ISI. He has authored books in the field of science education, such as: Physics Problem Solving Strategies and Developing Mental Abilities, Recent Trends in Science Teaching, The Psychology of Understanding Scientific Texts, New Trends in Physics Teaching, Dispositional theory of thinking and teaching strategies and models, Global Citizenship: An Absent Dimension in the Planning of Educational Curricula, The COVID-19 pandemic and the domino theory: The world at the edge "Education in the face of crises", Spiritual Intelligence and Science Teaching: A Human Journey Towards Transcendence, and The Model-Based Thinking Strategy (MBTS): Developing Physical Concepts and Inquiry Thinking Skills. He is also a reviewer for numerous research papers in the field of science education in various journals affiliated with Elsevier, Springer, and others. He received the Outstanding Scientist Award (Education/Science Teaching) from Venus International Foundation (2015) – India.
